If there is one thing that I have learned being on here and talking with friends and family, the first step to getting better is to be honest with yourself. It has taken me well over 12 years to really get that through my skull. The anger that I felt before had nothing to do with my parents my first failed marriage or the people that I work with. It was me wanting to make sure that people liked me and that I was needed. Once I figured this out I started to realize that a lot of times I gave too much to people. I let them really kind of walk all over me. This usually made me anxious and caused me a lot of times to shy away from being in public or hanging out with friends. While I was shying away from those things I started getting angry about the fact that I was not doing anything fun...duh my fault. I have truly turned over that new leaf, just by being honest with myself. Now when you try it the first time it can be very painful. If you can't be honest with yourself you can't be honest with anyone. That really damaged quite a few of my relationships and I am going to rebuild each one of them. God Bless

Good luck to you on your journey.. Hope you are able to restore your damaged relationships.

Love is giving, it has nothing to do with what you receive
Dr. wayne Dyer....I believe this would include relationships

But I see your point, enough is enough. Can't let them continue to walk all over you. Set some boundaries for yourself...

Keep smiling and shining Honestly
