Help with hoarding

I don't have any other friends. I did have a lady friend who wanted me to move into her place and pay her rent money but I had a falling out with her because she was rude to me but I know I didn't want to move into her place because she would likely have me drive her all the time and plus she has hoarding issues as well and has piles of books in her living room floor and other junk there. I finally dumped her because I find her emotionally cold person who judged me negatively saying she wasn't there to solve my problems. I was shocked because I never asked her to as I never assumed she could. I guess she hated me sharing my issues about the pandemic and loneliness. Anyway, it gave me reason to cut her off when she didn't like me and was only using me to drive her. I never cut people off. But she had it coming. She was always rude to me and being nice only when she needed my help.

I wish I had other friends but no.

People here suggested I put an ad for a roommate but that is too scary for me and it's a huge commitment to move in with a total stranger with my personal items. I heard too many horror stories and I am not usually lucky in meeting the right people.

And I know when people sign up for a place to rent, they usually have to sign a 1 yr contract.

Me too.

I understand how you feel. Sometime we just have to cut people out of our lives. That is understandable especially when we can never be too careful about who we allowed ourselves to be involved with especially with living arrangements.

I have been having a lot of good happy dreams lately. I dreamt my best friend threw me a birthday party (not something i usually go for, but it was pretty cool, there were a stackload of comedians there!). I started decluttering again in my bedroom and took down my curtain that I no longer like any more.

Had a really frustrating experience today where I was trying to clean the coils on our fridge. First I had to move all the stuff I have on top of it - cake pans, mixing bowls, cookbooks. Why do I have this stuff when I can't even eat baked goods anymore? Then I finally get the fridge out but give up on the idea of finding the right sized wrench and try to use pliers. It worked, but I pinched myself and lost a bolt. I get the thing apart and then can't find the brush I want. It's just so frustrating, there is so much crap in the basement that it doesn't take much for me to give up looking and buy a duplicate. I told my husband afterwards that we need to get rid of some stuff and he accused me of throwing out some things he couldn't find last week!

I managed to clean up a little more of my closet and I bought some fake plants to brighten up my bedroom a little bit more.

I just cleaned the ice tray in the freezer yesterday. One of my sister complained if anyone throws anything away.
