I just decluttering one side of the living room

tossing out empty boxes and getting rid of the trash

make feel better.

I solved this problem for good when I moved in 2021. I have all the extra stuff in storage. It costs me $168 a month, which is a lot of money but it is worth it since I have a completely orderly 2 bedroom apartment now. The smaller bedroom is my office. Since moving stuff into storage, I have engaged the services of a professional ergonomic consultant and I now have a standing desk and alternate between sitting and standing. She told me how important it is to have an uncluttered space. I have also trained myself to clean regularly now. The origin of all of those positive changes, though, was moving stuff into storage.

Yesterday day I clean the top of the freezer that was dusty. Today I got rid of a wooden cutting board and dish drainer.

Its funny, i see peoples houses on tv/youtube and im like, they have ROOMS. With WALLS. My pkace feels like a library, but then, that was my happy place when i was a kid.
