i dont post in here very much , in fact i think its my first time, but i need some advice / help.
im confused and a little scared, at the moment im not feeling very safe...... to the point that i fear i may do something to harm myself.... and i have been told today that if i get sectioned , i will have no control over my health , and that the hospital would take over my control............ but if i place myself into hospital because i fear for my safety, then i keep that control........ im so confused , hospital isnt where i want to end up but for my families sake .............. (they dont want me died) dec __________________  lifes a game, i no longer wish to play

Please go to the hospital. Anytime a person feels this way he or she needs to be in the hospital. Grab this opportunity to help yourself and go now. You know in your gut what you need to do to keep yourself safe my friend. Please take this time to do just that and go to the hospital. You are right, your family would rather you be alive and getting help than the other option. *Gentle Hugs* to you....please know you are cared about very much. thank you all for your replies, just thought i would add this little bit..
i have an apointment tomorrow with me pdoc, im going to ask him more about it..... as I have not been on all day started cooking at 7;30 am this morning, I feel bad I missed this post. You may friend take this chance and go to the hospital if you need help. You promised to keep yourself safe. DO what you gotta do to be safe muffy |

Oh, that's great you get to see your pdoc tomorrow and ask further about it to get things clearer, get his advice, and more comforable with whatever needs doing.

I'm also glad you get to meet with your pdoc to discuss how best to move forward. If you're feeling that unsafe it is best to go to the hospital voluntarily rather than get sectioned. It'll take you out of the rat race so you can focus more easily on how best to go about feeling better. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery! that was the hardest thing i have done ...... i sat there and told pdoc and social worker that i wanted to take my life.
it was the longest hour of my life, and then it went on a bit more...... they rang around the local mental health hospital, to get me a bed...... but there were none. they told me i came off my diazipam to fast, (25 mg per day to nothing.) and thats why i feel like i do. also told me i was close to having a seizure, due to me not taking my diazipam............. im now home, the home treatment team are coming out tomorrow and sunday.....my cca is coming to see me on monday and my social worker is coming out to see me on tuesday... i will keep you updated.... dec x0x __________________ lifes a game, i no longer wish to play
