I am still struggling with hoarding. I still have anxiety at the thought of throw in away items I can't used or need anymore.any suggestions? I have a few months before I might get a new bed. It was the last thing bed my cat black magic curl up on before passing away. I already got rid of one mattress and soon the next mattress sometime in the end of this year or early next year. I know I have enough time from now until then to get ready. I still freaking out! Any suggestions?

I been cleaning out more of my closet. I can almost close my closet by next year my closet should be organized.

I have been really decluttering  a lot out of my closet and  and entertainment center I already pulled out half of my carpet from my bedroom

Sounds like you are making progress. Don't think of it as giving up things. You are giving yourself the gift of more space. Some "stuff" just doesn't earn its keep. I'm a mild to moderate hoarder. But that's bad enough to make me feel like I'm drowning in stuff.
If you search for "decluttering" on YouTube, there are some inspiring videos. I actually hired a professional organizer. They're expensive, and I'm low income. Still, it was worth the money to me. I needed the emotional support to part with things. Good luck whittling down your excess baggage. It actually takes some courage. |
