I have pretty bad anosognosia. Sometimes I feel so unaware of what I want in my life that having nonexistent goals or aspirations feels "normal" to me. Like I should not have any prospects or any hope whatsoever.

That must be an incredibly and frustratingly heavy burden to bear. Wish I knew what to say to lighten your load! My heart goes out to you. People like you who are struggling with crushing burdens are heroes to me.

If it's because of something medical, I hope a doctor will be able to help you feel more alive. Also, though, maybe your subconscious is protecting you? If that's so, can you figure out why you might need this protection?
