was diagnosed with bronchitis and prescribed Benzonatate today. Benzonatate helps.

Last night I could not use the BiPAP due to difficulties breathing. Today I hope I will be able to.

Otherwise had an OK day.

Good night!

I've been "easing" my way in to Daylight Savings Time. Usually, I do okay waking up on time after the Time Change, but after a few days I slip back into Standard Time.

That's what happened this morning, after waking 5:30am and 6am on Monday and Tuesday.

This year I took the Time Change Week as my mandatory week off.

BTW, I don't use an alarm.

Not using an alarm is best. I know that.

Had a good day even though last night my sleep was interrupted by cough and I only had 5 hrs 40 mins of net sleep which typically is way too little for me. But it was not too little today. I am just a little concerned with being too excited. Do not want this to devolve into hypomania.

One more night off the BiPAP due to bronchitis. Tomorrow night I hope to feel better and be back on the "sleeping machine".

11:15PM good night!

11:26 PM I am still not in bed. I realized what had started happening: a mood reaction to the cough medicine. I have just read that it can even cause hallucinations. To nip it in the bud, I took Lybalvi for sleep. Lybalvi is Zyprexa+.

I do not want to go to bed, but I must.

11:40 PM. Finally Lybalvi has started to work. I am tired enough to go to bed. Let us see what this night brings.

12:24 AM good night

had a good day after I took a nap. Needed a nap because of poor sleep last night. Went to yoga, wore my weighted vest, worked, planned future work. Spent some time on this forum . Cooked a really good meal, ate and packed leftovers for 2 more meals. Wrote an important letter.

Feeling better but breathing is still difficult. I still won't use the BiPAP tonight.

Wrote to the DME company asking when I can come do another data download. My sleep psychologist appointment is late next week and I need to obtain a download in advance of it.

Did so today. I didn’t get up after I woke up. I stayed in bed and went over them. Nothing exciting tho. I was part of a business get away. We slept in two sets of bunk beds and made spaghetti along with our business plans. But that changed to the Girl Scout camp and there were people more interested in playing with games than packing up, cleaning up and leaving. The over all sense I got was that I have grown up. At 65, it’s about time I’ve grown up.

This past night, I netted 6 hrs 25 mins of sleep per Oura. My lowest HR was better than usual, at 64. The sleep efficiency and restfulness numbers were also better than usually. That, even though I went to bed way too late. So I just treated my morning which started early as a blessing, as if I had suddenly been gifted what I did not deserve, having gone to bed too late.

I exercised in the pool in the early afternoon, then had lunch and felt that I needed a short nap. I swear I fell asleep because there were gaps in the audio I was listening to, but Oura did not pick up that nap. Still, I know I napped for a little bit and woke up refreshed and ready to handle the rest of the afternoon and the evening. I went out, came back, did some work, cooked pasta and heated leftover meat and tomato sauce for dinner, and now we will be a good girl and go to bed early. Plus, I am feeling better with bronchitis and it is now easier to breathe, so tonight I will go back to using the BiPAP machine.

Lady Shadow, how have you been? We are worried about you on this thread.

10:16 PM night-night

Went to bed at 8pm last night and got up at 6:30. I wish I could've gone to bed earlier, but there's always so much to do every night.

Hey guys! @Tart Cherry Jam @SquarePegGuy @Nammu

Just wanted you guys to know I'm alive! It's been hard the past week. I have a new psychologist helping me through some things, which has been very helpful. He's approaching therapy differently than others, focusing on the present and the future rather than the past. Been diving in deep in work too, my boss really is a good person, and I am glad I work for her - although thank God for disability because she doesn't have the money to pay for half of what I do, but honestly, I love what I do, so it evens out.

I went to a fundraiser this weekend and stayed over in a fancy hotel. It was my real first test in sobriety because of all the dancing and partying going on around me, but I met a lot of fun people and danced the night away before heading up to my room. I brought my trusty CPAP and slept all the way right up to checkout.

I have to say though, my sleep has still been disturbed, and you're right @SquarePegGuy I do admonish myself because of it. Around 2 or 3am I wake up fully rested, but then I changed my mask so maybe that was it. It could have been leaking and I didn't even know.

So good to see you guys posting though, I am going to do better, I just had a lot going on. So nice to see people who care and most of all, Happy Daylight Savings Time! (next week) I wonder how I will I adjust.

Going to sleep soon though - aiming for 11:30pm Bedtime

I imagine that this was such a big achievement, to enjoy the hotel experience and dance the night away BUT stay sober. Congratulations!

I woke up with the alarm at 7, thinking that I was well-rested, but after getting up, going through the morning routines, and having breakfast, I realized that I needed more sleep. And then I slept from 8AM through 11:43AM. I could not believe it. Is it because I am sick or because I am going back to having symptoms of narcolepsy? Time will tell.

I did use the BiPAP again and am glad I did. I also had a vivid dream.

Now, going to bed at 10:50 PM.

I woke up at 6:52 AM ahead of my 7AM alarm. Went through my morning routines. The first wfh meeting is at 8:30 AM. Oura registered only 6 hrs of sleep. I think I will need a nap later, but for now I just keep going.

I like that waking up about 7AM and actually getting up has been moving towards the status of a habit. I would rather do it every morning and then take a nap if needed later than have the haphazard waking schedule I used to have.

Remembered my dreams again. Was bittersweet as I lost mum all over again.

Tomorrow I need to get up early so I’m talking one of my extra ambian to make sure I fall asleep early. I pretty much have myself trained from midnight to 8:30 but I need to be leaving at 8:30. And as I’m a slow person I need time in the morning to drink my chai and just prepare for the day I need to go to bed early so I can wake at 6:30. I hate having to hurry. This way I can relax

I have been up since before 7AM. No nap!

I was tired enough that I could not start on an important project that requires deep focus at work, but still I was able to complete many other important tasks. Exercised, too.

Tomorrow I need to be up that early again. Wish me luck!

10:20 PM good night!
