I have this leftover annoying feeling of "I wish I could talk more" because I did not get to say even a small portion of what I had prepared to tell the judge. But she realized that my ex was a fraudster, so whatever little I did manage to say was sufficient. She clearly said that she was basing her ruling on my testimony, among other factors. And she is so time-pressed. She already stayed 15 minutes into her lunch time. What more can I wish for? The next hearing is in April. I won't need to appear, just my attorney. The hope is that it will be the last one.

11:08 PM good night!

I was exhausted yesterday and collapsed into bed before 8:30pm. Turns out that I had forgotten to take my morning pills again, Effexor and Nuvigil. But I didn't realize it until it was time to take my nighttime pills. The CPAP said reported 11 and 1/2 hours of use, but I didn't fall asleep right away. I also slept after lunch. Fortunately, I was working from home, and I had no afternoon meetings. I feel better today. And the New Moon is a good time of the month for me to sleep.

I did not note about the New Moon being a good time to sleep; noted.

My son was born on the Full Moon and the nurses at the hospital told me that more babies are born on the Full Moon, but later on I read that this is a misconception.

Do you brush your teeth right before bedtime?

I came across a newspaper article that said that the peppermint flavor in toothpaste can bring about a release of dopamine. It can be counterproductive to brush teeth with minty toothpaste right before going to bed because it can wake you up.

Duh

Well I went through an experimental period of figuring out a way of brushing my teeth without waking myself up.

First I kept the bright lights off, and I tried children's Bubblegum flavored toothpaste (I believe it was SpongeBob SquarePants). Then I realised it was the cold water I'd rinse with that woke me up. (The bathroom is far from the water heater, so I'd use cold water rather than wait four minutes for hot water.) So then I brushed my teeth in the kitchen where the water heats up quickly. Still I'd wake up. Ultimately, I found out that it's the act of brushing itself that would drive away my tiredness.

Maybe it's not a misconception to say that a Full Moon leads to more conception.

But seriously, I find that the New Moon, and the week before and the week after, is the best time for me to sleep. I don't know how universal it is, though.

@SquarePegGuy thanks so much for the good sleep wishes! I have to say, I slept excellent last night. Got about 7 hours in. I made it a point to charge my phone across the room, that way I had no access to it during the night. That has helped immensely! Also, I have to agree with the brushing before bed theory, any activity that gets the brain going before bed usually leaves you restless. But the act of brushing, and what's in the toothpaste can definitely wake you up more, making it hard to fall asleep. Eating before bed does the same thing to me - my body is digesting food so I can't fall asleep.

The New Moon theory is a good one too. Never thought about it contributing to a restful sleep.

@Tart Cherry Jam so glad you've been so consistent with going to bed on time! This thread has been so helpful to me for doing the same thing.

By flavor, this is my favorite toothpaste:

Boka Kids Orange Cream Space Paste n-Ha Toothpaste 4 oz. Orange cream. Yum!!

I use fluoride toothpaste in the morning. Actually, even prescription-strength fluoride toothpaste.

And then, if I have time to brush for the 2nd time, I use this Japanese technology. In Japan, they have used it for decades and it apparently aids remineralization. But I do not recommend using it instead of fluoride. I think it would be too risky. I like alternating.

10:38 PM good night!

11:12 pm right now and going to sleep in about an hour or so.

Still can't believe I am napping in the middle of the day like I am. I snored for about two hours on the couch earlier, lol.

Slept good last night again and got up really early for church again this morning. Hopefully, will get a good night's sleep again tonight.

Good night, everybody!!

Yes, @Tart Cherry Jam! The dental hygienist recommended one of these flavors. I plan to try it soon. Thanks!

I keep waking up from increasingly sore throat. Do not have any general malaise or other symptoms, though. Where are my COVID tests? I swear I had a bunch. Where did I put them?!

woke up many times during the night because of a sore throat.
am COVID-negative. Ultimately got up very early. Had some work done and, importantly, sent a bunch of documents, all at once, to my CPA. Now I owe him just one more form I have not received yet. Once we get that form, he can do my tax return.
Also this morning I finished paying off a 2015 debt. Feeling happy that I was able to close a chapter in my life.

time for a nap now. Then will go see my internist regarding anemia, then work the rest of the afternoon and all evening: I have a deadline.

I did not post yesterday because I felt so sick. I went to bed early and woke up several times during the night, but now I feel better. I tested negative for COVID for the second day in a row, so I hope this is definitive. I do not want another COVID, considering that I probably got sleep difficulties as a complication of my first COVID.

Going to start preparing a presentation now!

I hope everyone is getting through their day fine!

@Tart Cherry Jam - I hope you feel better soon! I know how hard it is to use the CPAP with a sore throat or cough - it's so uncomfortable! I do hope you figure out what it is soon. Test again in 2 days or so, sometimes it takes a while to get a positive COVID test when you have COVID. It's not always apparent right away.

Had a really good sleep last night, slept about 7 hours. Have a long day tomorrow so I am going to bed early. Hope everyone is sleeping well and had a good day today!

Last night, was so tired that I could not post when I was going to bed. It was at 10:30 PM.
I woke up a couple of times during the night (to go to the bathroom and have a sip of water) but quickly went back to sleep.
Got up with the 7AM alarm and hope that I won't need a nap.

I was so tired last night that I fell asleep with music. I was too tired to switch to an audiobook. Normally, I need a story and cannot fall asleep to music.

going to bed late, so I have already taken Lybalvi=Zyprexa with another ingredient.

I know that when I go to bed late, I need Lybalvi. Seroquel is not enough for me to fall asleep. In order to avoid using Lybalvi, I need to go to bed before 11PM. today I was not so disciplined.

Also, earlier today needed a long nap.
