I have panic attacks. I have found it to be calming to close my eyes and let my mind wander is this a common thing or strictly related to me.

If it works, why not? Is it odd It does sound like you are worrying about tasks and things (which causes anxiety) and by changing focus away from those things, you can calm. Is it odd
