  • American Association of Suicidology - Information on suicide for the suicidal individual and friends/family. Phone numbers and links to crisis centers and hotlines. As well as information on support groups available in your area. Also, extensive research on suicide is available at a fee. A list of resources.
  • Befrienders International - Information on what to do if you are suicidal. As well as information on what to do if a friend is suicidal and the warning signs of suicide. Also, most importantly, phone numbers to crisis centers and hotlines and e-mail addresses of individuals ready to listen and to do what they can to help.

    Last of all, information on depression, self-injury and homosexuality. As well as some additional information on suicide.
  • The Samaritans - A charity based in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. It provides completely confidential emotional support to those who are suicidal and those who are in despair. This can be done through e-mail, the phone, snail mail or face-to-face. Publications are also available.

I've found these blogs pretty inspirational and uplifting. It's nice to read something that makes you feel empowered to fight cutting or depression. They seem to post frequently too in case you need a daily pick me-up.
