I'm only posting as hopefully a way to keep me from SI! It has been 6 days since I have taken pills or used a razor. Was kind os proud of myself, however now on day 6 have one bad day (work related) & NW I have these strong urge to either take pills or pull out my razor! I'm fighting it & I can't turn to my normal venting/sounding board. I was responsible for a group of 90 @ work. They needed to be checked in & keyed by a certain time. I didn't quite make it but I feel like a failure for not getting it done! Then suppose to have a talk with a friend tonight but of course they don't call. Why does it take one bad day to set you back what feels like 10?

I'm sorry to hear you've had a bad day I know how you feel. Since I stopped SI, I just really wanted to do it again. Then I lost the blade somewhere. Strangely, this made me want to do it less. Not having the razor there sitting in front of me made me kind of forget about it.

Have you found a really good distraction? Mine is the internet, which is one of the reasons I'm online literally all day Just keep focusing on the distraction. The urges become less in time..

Good luck Let us know how it goes, if you want to

Thanks IndiSoul! My razors are out of sight & require me going in the basement to get them & I don't have that much energy in me so that is good. Keep eye the pills on my nightstand but pulled out my book & going to read! I took 2 tylenol PM to hopefully out me to sleep. Can't take more then 2 of those cause I then get restless let symdrome & can't sleep. So doubt to turn off my cell so I don't look at it every 5 minutes to see if my friend text even. Going to fight this urge. I have to!! I can't take 10 steps back.
Thanks for this!

I'm hanging in there....At work so makes it a little easier and nothing to SI with so that is a plus. Hoepfully when I get home I will be too tired to even think about it!

Thanks IndieSoul!!

You're very welcome That's good that work makes it easier. For me, school is both a relief and a trigger, because there is nothing to SI with there, but my anxiety towards school makes me want to do it! Good luck when you get home

I can relate to school being a relief and a trigger for you! WOrk is the same for me. Like yesterday it was a trigger. TOnight/last night was a calmer night so the urge isn't there as much!

Thanks again!
