i am not coping so well feeling like am failing in everything
wanting to cut so much feeling suicidal as well but trying not to do anything
like OD ing

so i have a choice to either OD or cut and i guess the safest one is to cut
but am trying to do things before i do that like distractions

can you call someone and talk about this? Maybe your T? These thoughts are hard and dangerous, you shouldn't stay alone with them. I really hope that you stay safe

No we aren't because the last T betrayed our trust

Sounds like you are going through some difficult things. Really intense feelings and your thoughts are leading you to dangerous actions. I know that seeing a therapist is hard, I had a really bad experience with one that I had known for a few years, he betrayed my trust and did some unethical things. The thing was that with the help of a friend I found a new therapist and it did take a long time for me to develop a trusting relationship but it's possible. Not all T's will betray you and talking about what happened with my new therapist was and still is very hard.

You do need to get some help - we can be here for you but it sounds like you are suffering a great deal and need a professional. I know it's hard but I moved forward and am grateful that I did.

Keep us posted...
Thanks for this!

I've heard that CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) is a good one and DBT (dialectal behavioural therapy).

I know two people who have had one of these therapies, one self harmed for years and years and finally gave it up with CBT and the other is currently undergoing DBT and hasnt self harmed for 6 months.

Maybe worthwhile finding out about this.

Sometimes the hardest thing to do is the very first thing you need to do which is to reach out for help. Try phoning a helpline and chat to them about your options.

After you've made that first most difficult step you may find that things start to get a bit easier.

You can come through this even though it might seem impossible at your most negative moments, it really CAN happen and DOES happen to plenty of people that have felt the way you feel now. There are positive stories of people that have come through it out there. Although you can't see it now there is a light at the end of the tunnel once you manage to make the right moves towards getting help, even if you can't see it now.

Good that you've posted on here.
