Ok, this might sound odd... but I need to know how to stop talking about SU and SI while at work. I am freaking others out - naturally.

I am seeing a T. And he says I am "where I am supposed to be" with my healing. That is fine. But I have DID and my angry alter comes to the surface sometimes because work is soooooo stressful. When that happens, I hear myself making SI "jokes" aloud. Yesterday I caught myself laughing and describing a scene where they would walk in and find me SU by the telephone cord at work.

I do NOT want to say these things. They just come out before I even realize it! And I already know my DID alter is trying to use SI to get through to me somehow. But I am afraid that as much as I sometimes do hate the job, that they will fire me because of those stupid "jokes" .... And I do not want to make the other team members uncomfortable.

Any ideas?

Do you think that you (or somebody) wants to get fired?

Oh that is the understatement of the day :-) Yes, Mick does not want us to work here at all. But deeper, she does not want me to be alive. Found out today she actually thinks I am already dead and she has to finish the job! So I have to work on that DID stuff.....

wpowers,

i think your awareness of this is the most important thing. The more aware you are of any alters and their ways of trying to disturb you is half the battle at coming to terms with things and empowering yourself. Good Luck. Sending good thoughts your way. :-) :-)
