it's okay..4 months is great, you've done it before, you can do it again. one little slip isnt the end of the world. take a second and breathe. we all have hard times, maybe we can help if we know whats going on? just a thought..hoping you feel better..

So we get back on the wagon. I cut again ~ You can do it. Slip ups are ok. They happen.

You know you can call me anytime. Take care sweetie.

I just recently cut, too. All you can do is start over, keep yourself busy, and see how long you can go without cutting again. The others are right...just get back on the wagon and try again.

Good luck!

This sounds weird but keep your hands busy instead of holding a sharp object in your hands.

(e.g. typing, writting, juggling, tapping, clapping, piano etc...)

Adding to Miss_A's suggestion - I've found that shuffling cards is a very good way to keep yourself distracted. You can shuffle them over and over, aimlessly, and eventually become good enough to show off to your friends. I cut again ~

I found that keeping your hands busy helps a lot. I type on the computer all the time to keep my urges at bay. It's the only thing that seems to work for me.

Congrats on the four months cut free, first of all. Secondly, like everyone said, just jump back on the wagon... We all slip up from time to time, all we can do is pick ourselves up and try, try again.

I've found typing to be very helpful as well. When I'd write when I got the urge, I'd see the little ball-point on the pen and see it was kinda sharp and it'd trigger me even more... So now when I get anxious and want to cut, I start typing my frustrations out on wordpad or talk to friends online... It helps tremendously.

Four months is a long time. That's really impressive. I'm really proud. Just don't be too hard on yourself over one mistake, ok? You'll do better next time. I believe in you and I'm here if you need any help.
