Therapy, you have to fix what is causing the urges. Usually it has to do with your ability to deal with your feelings.

Maybe I should try to get a therapist. I cannot control my feelings at times.

Feelings aren't for controlling, they are for expressing. Feelings are information.

Getting a therapist would be a really good idea.

Yeah would be. It would even better if a doctor actually care and refer me to one. Not just give me drugs.

Just ask for the therapy referral and tell him that you don't want meds.
