Hey.
I sometiems cut us when emotion/anxiety/depression gets overwhelming or if everyone inside is upset and way upset. It at least seems to make everyone quieter for a while. the ting is our mom has been occasionally asking what happened ( when seeing some of the scars on my arm. and sometimes other people ask too. =/ we usually just say we bumped into stuff and then start talking about some bruises and stuff we have that we dont know where they came from ( we bruise waay easy.) i know there probably isnt an answer to my question i just wish we knew how to answer better.. you know something that ppl wont doubt but maybe they will quit asking. i have quit cutting in visible areas on my arms now i just do my shoulder areas so clothes cover it. but i havent SH'd in a few weeks but times are about get really hard and well i cant make any promises. SADIE

Do you have someone who you can be honest with about your SH? A therapist? Do you have any safe coping skills?

I feel awkward about my scars - I do keep them covered as much as I can, it is something I have to consider every day when I am getting dressed. Sometimes people notice, I usually say I caught it on something and change the subject.

well there are a very select few i can be honest with about it.. mainly our daughter and husband. We had a T but dont think we will be going back to her.. cuz she kinda pissed me off and hurt everyone's feelings..
