There is a self injury awareness day?
![]() ![]() Self-injury awareness day SIAD is a global awareness day, and yet it is not supported by any nations' governments, because it is a grass-roots idea. Somehow, in the mists of time, the date was set as the 1st of March, and organisations around the world make extra efforts to raise awareness ready for SIAD. Full info can be found HERE. |

Wow I had no idea. I think we have days for everything here in the UK. Considering buying a ribbon next year if I can find one.

there are also bracelets, in orange, yellow and orange, and then orange with one yellow bead. i forget which is which but one is supposed to be awareness, one is you're trying to stop and one is you have, or something like that. i forget. i've also found somewhere else that there's also another ribbon thats red one side and black the other, i dunno, quite some time before i looked at this.
