can cutting urself become addicting.... i know thats a stupid question but i thikn about it all the time..... but it didnt start till i started taking lexapro... could they be connected?

I'm not sure what the connection to taking Lexapro would be (not saying there isn't one - just that I don't know), but cutting is a behavioral addiction. BTW, the only stupid question is the one that doesn't get asked.

Have you spoke with a T or PDoc about what you think to be a correlation between beginning the Lexapro and cutting? I think this is very important and should be addressed as soon as you get the chance.

Cutting is definitely addictive, IMO. I've been cutting for 15 years and it's definitely an addiction for me.

I have not heard of cutting being correlated with lexapro but that is not to say that it is not in your case. everyone reacts differently. Please call your pdoc and get his opinion. i am sorry you are feelinjg so poorly. Take care of yourself. You deserve to be kind to yourself.
