How many times do you give blood and wonder if they notice the scars? Or wear t-shirts and wonder if someone can see them? What would you say if someone asked? :/

I just started cutting recently, I only have scars on my fingers. But i am scared to death even of someone seeing that. If someone asked... I mean what could you say? I would tell them the truth... But make them swear never to tell anyone. I would be so scared if it wasn't someone I really trusted. I would be terrified that they would tell, especially that they would tell my parents. I would be OK with somebody knowing I guess, just not my parent, because I would really feel like I had let them down, and I don't know they woul be mad, or what... It's hard trying to hide them sometimes.

I've come to accept that my scars/cuts are a part of me and if anyone asks i just tell them straight. If they have a issue it's there's not mine but it took along time to get the where i am now.

I make the scars smaller and I tend to wear hoodies or long shirted thin tops in summer. Everytime I make a new scar I am a little bit afraid of people seeing them, but so far no-one noticed them.

I have a dr's appt tomorrow & is terrified of them being seen. I always hide them with long sleeves or sweater & when I'm at school I make sure that I never raise my sleeves up too far for them to be seen because I'm always working with my hands. When I'm at home & I want to wear my arms out...I always lock myself in my room. Other than that, they are always covered. No sure what's gonna happen when the nice weather rolls around 8\

I'm sure it did...not sure if I could handle that. Showing my T my arms for the 1st time was really awkward as is so I couldn't go thru showing her every week especially if I had recently SI'ed.
