I turned in all my cutting supplies to my therapist today. A part of me wanted to do it b/c I'm tired of dealing with things this way and another part of me did it out of pure obiedience to God. Guess I'm tired of letting my feelings run the show. It's hard though b/c it's only been three days since the last time I cut and I keep having negative thoughts that this is just a phase. But I've been fighting those thoughts with Gods strength...so keep me in your prayers that this won't just be a phase!

Excellent... I'm glad you handed in your tools. Don't forget to check out the list of distractions on this forum as well, hopefully some of those will help you too when you have urges.

To Everyone....THANKS for the encouragement....it was a big step for me and I've already regretted it a few times but it has helped so much turning it in. I'm learning that with strength from above anything is possible even things I've told myself for years and years would never happen....Keeping you all in my thoughts b/c its a hard road to travel......thanks again
