When I see my scars, it's like, no big deal. But if other people see them, they make out like its a lot worse than it actually is.

Do cuts look worse to people who don't cut themselves?

When people can see how much we are hurting inside, they make it seem that way... Why? Because they don't understand how a person could do such a thing.

I agree with puzzclar, but I'm not specifically referring to cutting scars.

I fell during gym class once and got a cut on my shin and it bled. To me it was no big deal, but everyone else was like "OMG ARE YOU OK?"

I suppose it's because we're so used to it and they're not..
Thanks for this!
