I've been told recently on another board how I'm "bad" for expressing how I was hurt by someone. I didn't express it in the healthiest way.
I feel shamed... and guilty...

(deleted)

And I "shouldn't" feel like that - being so "easily" hurt anyway... I'm not a "teen or pre teen"
And now I do feel "bad" I've tried to forgive myself but the words keep coming back Especially when I can't sleep...
I haven't si'd (apart from scratches) as I'm trying not to be "weak".. not that I judge anyone else who si's as that... just me.
.....

ps I'm thinking of asking my GP to refer me to group DBT.

If I thought he would.... I'm tired of feeling dismissed, "judged" and invalidated

(I live in the UK...)

Also I'm cutting down on sleepy meds....

You are not "bad". Some people can be very mean. I know the feelings of guilt and shame way too well, and they are not fun feelings. Take good care of yourself and always remember you are a good and caring and worthy person. ((((hugs))))

Getting a referral for DBT would be really good. When are you going to do it?

Are you sure that you interpreted her intent the way that she meant her comment?

I'm going to ask the GP within the next week.

re the other issue, I wasn't literally called "bad"... but I think others would likely interpret it that way. sigh..

but then I guess that's about them how they interpret it...

Also it hurts being accused of doing something I didn't do. grrrrr.
(this was someone different recently... also not from here.)
