I used 2 cut/burn myself A LOT, but that was almost 20yrs ago. I've occassionally self-mutilated since then (it's probably been 6 years ago). Lately, it's been pretty tempting...the more out of control I feel or if I feel numb too long...it's something that I want to do. Especially since I quit drinking/using drugs. I'm good @ trading one addiction/destructive behavior 4 another. I haven't started thinking about it all the time but it does pop into my head some. Nothing too "serious" (nothing that could be considered life threatening). Something like punching the wall a few good times, which is better than the cutting/burning. I get so irritable when I'm manic and I get so pissed off I feel like my head will explode.it's better for me 2 punch a wall than some poor person who happens 2 cross paths with me.
