It has been over a year that I last cut myself until the other day. I have been feeling pretty depressed lately and the only thing to seems to relieve the hurt, at least for a short period of time, is cutting. I hate myself for starting it again, but I just don't know what else to do. I have tried things like changing the situation or environment that I am in, I tried using ice instead of cutting, I don't have anyone to talk to on a regular basis so that is not an option. I have also tried a few other things.

If anyone has any suggestions on what else I can try, it would be greatly appreciated. No one knows that I am cutting again except for my therapist and we are trying to figure out what the trigger is that is causing me to hurt myself.

If things are depressing you, don't keep it to yourself. Tell the person who is causing that problem. Sometimes we avoid conflicting talk, trying to settle down the issues but in real they become even worse. If you want I'm also here for you...
