Hi tomboy2011, I am sorry that it sounds like you are having a hard time right now. Sometimes the worry of something can be worse than actually doing it, we can imagine all sorts of things in our heads - so hope you can find a way of telling your mum about the infected cuts.

Take care and let us know how you are - Soup

To be honest, a fair few of us already warned you about this, so I can only say you had to see this coming.

Go to the hospital please.

An infected cut is nothing to mess around with - I know I had a cut (accidental not SI) that got badly infected and I wound up on IV Antibiotics for 10 days and oral antibiotics for another 21 days.

I know it's scary, but talk to your Mom, and get taken to the Dr's or the hospital. Now is the time to put safety first.

If you go to the hospital, you'll probably have to talk to someone from psych who is on call, but it's very unlikely that you'd be admitted to a pscyh ward, just for SI.

Be safe, get the cuts looked after.

As I said yesterday, you NEED to get to a doctor regardless of what happens. If you do not treat the infection now, it can get worse and become sepsis where the infection spreads throughout your body.

A kid in NY just died from an infected cut. He got sepsis throughout his whole body. Don't mess around with this stuff. Get to a doctor.

I'm not going to reply anymore tomboy on your posts, because you just won't help yourself. Please stop messing us, and you around.

It is a waste of time trying to tell you to go to hospital, because clearly you're not going to.

You're gonna start p*ssing people off on these boards, and lose support here too.

No, that does not necessarily mean it's getting better. And I have the same advice as everyone else here, Get it checked! It is hard to continue to give advice to those who knw what they should do and won't do it anyways.

It can be really hard to just DO what you need to. I hope you find it in yourself to do what you have to do to take care of yourself!
