Hello and welcome. I hope that you find what you are looking for and are able to get help for your symptoms. You said you have mood swings - does that mean that you have highs too, or are you mainly concerned with depression?

You know, treatment in the hospital can help keep you safe in an emergency, but most of the time it doesn't make you better without good followup. Please don't give up hope based on having been in the hospital and having a relapse. If you aren't getting therapy and continuing treatment after hospitalization, I would expect a relapse.

I am sorry to hear that you have started cutting, and if it is possible for you, please stop before it becomes more engrained as a habit. It's easier to stop sooner rather than later. What does cutting do for you? It does become a way to cope with overwhelming emotions, but it isn't an effective way as it never makes anything better. It avoids having to deal with the emotional pain right away, but eventually it makes things worse.

Be Safe and Have Hope,
Rap
