Has anyone ever went to a massage therapist? Did it help dealing with the self harm?

Hi. I have never tried that, but holistic treatments can be very effective. Since stress is present when you hurt so badly emotionally that you turn to self harm, massage therapy sounds like a good get rid of some of the stress and muscle tightening that goes along with it. As you drift during massage therapy, try to imagine yourself feeling happy and strong. There really is a place for holistics in modern medicine. I use biofeedback to get to sleep and it works better than the medication my Dr. perscribes me for sleep. I'd say go for it!
