I've managed to not pull my hair for a month before, but I only managed five days this time. Even when I'm not actually pulling, it's still so hard to keep my hands away from my head! And I'm probably fussing about nothing, too...I've been reading stories of people who pull their hair, and they all mention bald patches - I've never had those. I can see why they find it hard to stop, but why do I find it so hard as well? I've hardly got a problem! Dammit, I feel so weak!

(((((Rio))))))

You aren't weak - this is an addiction, and its really hard to stop.

Please take care of yourself - and PM me anytime okay? Even just to talk.

Hi Rio, you've managed to do it before (1 whole month). Don't be so hard on yourself. Okay, you managed 5 days this time. Next time you'll do better!

Can you try to do something else with your hands whenever you feel the urge coming? Eg. tapping a pen, stress balls etc. Anything to just occupy your hands really.

Thanks canders7 and Always. Dammit, I feel so weak! I'm feeling better now - I was just really frustrated last night. I'll see if I can find something to keep my hands busy when I'm on the computer, that's a good idea!

Rio please don't be so hard on yourself. I know it is hard to see how well you have done. Please try and be kind to yourself. Take care and try to see what everyone here sees in you.

Thanks, bipolar_bear. Dammit, I feel so weak! I'm trying to stop again - I've managed to keep my hands away from my head almost all the time today and yesterday, and hopefully I'll be able to keep going for a bit longer this time!
