As a child I was belted and slapped all over the place well, lately I have been craving pain and I usually cut or vomit to compensate, is this a sane thing to do? Is there any way to help stop it? please reply I need help to stop it cause then people will know something is amiss

I can kinda relate to this. I sometimes want to feel pain so I burn myself but then sometimes i ask people to slap me or hit me. I would say try and distract yourself by taking a walk or something. Instead of cutting try putting ice on your arm. That hurts kinda and it's not really SI
