Its been about two weeks since I cut last and today I gave in to the urges. I have mixed feelings about it. I'm a bit disappointed in myself but in some ways I feel better. I was able to release a lot of pent up emotion through pain and blood. I felt more calm after. That may sound weird, I can't always explain things the best.

I'm 11 weeks now, and trust me, I've had some really horrific urges. I got them nearly every day. Don't worry, you can pull through this. I've made it this long and so can you

Just because you slipped up doesn't mean you should give up. You have an admirable goal in trying to stop self harming. Having a slip up doesn't change that. I can understand the mixed emotions. On one hand you have a sense of relief and are able to let go of some painful emotions. On the other there is shame and disappointment that you hurt yourself. Try to dust yourself off and try again. Everyday you can hold off the urges and treat yourself good is a victory.
