she walked in today and saw the scars on ky kneck.

she asked me where they came from and i actually told her the truth... that i'd been doing it

she goes to me.. oh, that's great!

keep it up!

just the sort of attitude from someone who cares.

That's really terrible she said that to you. I'm sorry she's not being as supportive as she could be. The important thing is to try not to let that make you SI more.

Samanthagreene is right. That is a terrible response from your mother. I hope you can develope coping skills that keep her from triggering you. It will take some time. Do you have a therapist or psychiatrist that could help you through these issues. Wishing you luck with your progress.
