so I don't really cut I have thought of it before. But I am kind of freaked out, I had a dream a few nights ago that I could have sworn was something that actually happened.

I did, sounds dumb I am sure but it was one of those dreams I thought was real for a little while so a little freaked by it.

If you are dreaming about injuring yourself, consider it a warning from your subconscious. Tell you therapist about it right away. Once you start SI, its very very difficult to stop. Take care of it as soon as you can. Its easy just to assume it was a dream and nothing will happen. The thoughts are there, and if something happens that stresses you badly, those thoughts may become reality. Please tell your therapist about it and get some help in that area.

Dreams are just dreams............. (IMO)....

It is your brain playing. Like as a kid out on the playground. It is playing pretend. UNTIL you seriously ponder picking up a razor or something - I would not be too concerned.

It could be just a dream - do you have any thoughts about harming yourself when you are awake?

It might be worth exploring with your therapist if it concerned you. It can't hurt to discuss it if it is playing on your mind.
