I haven't SI-ed in over 6 years and then broke that on Saturday night wooooo. But anyways, I kind of panicked a bit just now because summer is coming and my friends and I have a annual party at someone's lakehouse and I'm going to have scars on my thighs... I mean, I could wear swimming shorts too but I've never really done that so it would be kind of abnormal for me to do so. My friends don't know anything about my SI or depression (I'm usually the happiest, goofiest, kid in my group) so I'm kind of nervous. Is there some way to cover it up? Or should I just leave them and then hope they don't bring it up :/

it has been my experieince that most people dont bring up my scars. i would say just wear what makes you feel comfortable and try not to feel self conscious. take care

I wouldn't worry until summer is here, scars fade and the sun will fade them too! Sorry you broke your 6 years streak but well done for having a 6 year streak even more!
