I haven't si'd in ages, since October 10th, I think, which is pretty good for me. But I still dream about si'ing even when I don't really feel that bad. I dunno why, but it's triggering. Anyone else?

I've had dreams about SI before.. and yes, they were also triggering. My T says that in a way though, for those of us that SI, they are 'normal' because it's a coping mechanism. When we hurt we SI to feel better, and that pattern gets stuck in our brain, and we go there unconsciously. Perhaps in your dream you were hurting, and because you SI IRL you SI'd in your dream. Doesn't make it any easier, but maybe it will help you think about it.

Hugs,
Jacq

In Alcoholics Anonymous (and other 12 step programs), they are called "using dreams".
