Ok so I feel mixed about somethin I had to do per training at my job. I work in retail and we were all issued workplace violence training this week. I've done mine. I know I have issues in my head so I try to avoid stressful situations. My store manager has appeared unstable since she got her in February. Well it's become known that she cuts. She wears long sleeves to hide the scars from customers and her bosses, but she talks about them with the associates under her rule. She seems to be showing them off, for what reason I have no idea. I've noticed some fresher looking marks on her wrists too. I don't like her she's not a good person. She lies to cover her own butt and doesn't take responsibility for her actions. I'm of the opinion she's a narcissist. But anyway. I turned her in to get her help or remove her from store management level because of her instability. I understand having SI thoughts and urges, but I don't put myself in positions of power because of that same reason. I also don't go around showing them off. Maybe I wish she had more tact. I'm not sure. I just needed to get it out.

well I think because she lies to cover her own butt that that is enough to turn her in as a management infraction. she shouldn't be talking about her SI to her staff either. that is unprofessional. I think you did the right thing. I hope they get her help.
