So I finally managed to talk about my SI to t. I suppose it went as well as was to be expected. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed because now that t knows I'll have to work on quitting in earnest - but that was part of the rationale behind telling him, so no chickening out.

I'm worried that every time I fall off the wagon, there will be added guilt now. Just what need Finally managed to disclose to t

I'm glad you were able to tell your t, that's a big step
the thing to remember about quitting is that it's a process. There will likely be bumps in the road, but with enough effort, you'll eventually get there. I hope t was supportive, and will continue to be supportive of the process. Good luck!
Thanks for this!

Thanks, ThisWayOut. T reacted ok - stern (as in "this has to stop before it gets out of control") but still empathetic and with constructive advice.
Thanks for this!
