I really hope you don't, what has helped you make it this far? Are there any coping skills you can use, anybody you can talk to? You can make it through this

Hi Mysterygirl,
![]() OK, it's about holding on in there for as long as you possibly can, and you have done 671 days which is a MASSIVE achievement in itself. I wish I could say urges just completely vanish after a certain period but they don't always, what can change a lot though is their frequency and your strength/resilience in working through them. And you have worked through 671 days!!!! Now is there anything different going on for you, bringing the urges so near the surface right now? Anything you want to talk about? But if not, or until you want to talk.............then maybe just try throwing everything/anything at them..........whatever has worked for you in the past.........or even something different if those things aren't working...........sometimes coping skills might need adapting over time. Just try to show those urges what for, hey?? ![]() And you know you're not alone here, right? So if you want to, try to get some more strength from talking with us. Never be ashamed.......afraid.......isolated........whatever in saying how it is, we're here for you!!! ![]() Alison And again!!! 671 days!!!! KUDOS!!!! |
