Unfortunately this will be my last time posting/being on this thread. I am trying to stop SI'ing and its becoming harder for me to resist this urge when I am scrolling through this thread. I don't know why, but I guess just reading about everyone else's experiences with self injury makes me want to do it.

I sincerely hope that everybody stays strong during their struggles.

Hello Katelyn: This is probably a wise decision. I know, for myself, there are things that trigger me that I should avoid. But as often as not, I'm weak & I just keep giving in. I hope you are able to stay strong in your commitment to heal. My best wishes to you!

It's a difficult one as technically this place could be seen as very triggering/encouraging of self injurious behaviour. You just have to do whatever you feel you need too. Perhaps keep in contact with some of the people you've got to know via PM and wall messages - that way you'll be able to maintain these contacts without feeling so out of the loop. Best of luck.
Thanks for this!

If it helps you to stay away then do. I hope you will be strong enough to keep to what's best for you. I know I've had to stay away from eating disorder stuff myself as I'm very easily triggered with anything to do with food and weight. Just look after yourself ok.
