I'm sure you've all had things that triggered you to SI. For me it was, and again is, when I'd nick myself with my box cutter at work. I had got past that quite a few years ago but with a couple recent slip-ups the triggers are back again.

Here's the thing about triggers. For me it is like looking at some warm cookies that have just come out of the oven. I want it. It looks inviting. I even find that I like the way it looks.

I don't really have a question, I just needed to get this out I think. I'm also thankful for my little sister. I'm going to see her for the holidays and she'll be looking for new cuts so I am refraining.

Clearly if I had a crisis I would have a harder time refraining, but I think I'd just hide it better if necessary.

Thanks for sharing this, Achy Turtle Armor. Yes, I have my own bevy of triggers... mostly internal. I'm glad you have a reason to refrain from cutting at the present time. Hopefully you will be able to turn your current reason into a permanent condition!
