Hello everyone. I'm new here but I wanted to share with all of you that come the 27th of this month it will be 1 year since the last time I cut. It's been a hard, long road but I am really proud of myself and I want to say that you are all just as strong as I am so don't lose hope. You, too, can conquer this.

PeaceAndHarmony, congratulations on 1 year free of self harm. Your example is an encouragement and inspiration to us all.
Many people who are actively involved in Psych Central find it helps take them out of their own problems to develop empathy for others. And their problems though still there are more manageable. There are lots of compassionate people here that can make the load lighter by sharing and caring. Feel free to participate actively at Psych Central. My Support Forums is the online community that was originally begun as the Psych Central Forums in 2001.
