TRIGGER WARNING***
My SH has progressively gotten worse in the last 1-2 months. I have a pretty good size wound that I'm not sure exactly how bad it is yet, but in case it needs stitches where would be the best place to go? ER, urgent care, or wait until tomorrow to go to the doctor? I've only ever been to the ER once for SH and that's when I stabbed myself and needed surgery, so I'm not sure what they'll do. |

I say ER. They have more resources to help.

You can only stitch for about 12 hours after the injury, so you need to see a doctor as soon as possible. Don't wait until office hours; by then it may be too late.

Thank you both.
After looking at it, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was thankfully. I just cleaned it up and called it good. |

I'm glad it wasn't as bad as you thought.
