Hey, I am 15 and for years now, I've suffered from self injurious behavior. I would swing at my head, claw at my skin until I bleed, smash my head against solid objects. I also cut and carve words into my skin. I would pull at my hair until chunks come out. I would rub my thumb against my chin until it's raw. Am I the only suffering from this level of self injurious behavior?

I bang my head against walls and carve words into my skin. (I'm 18 now) What helps me sometimes is, instead of carving, write the words on you with a marker. I prefer whiteboard marker - it washes off easier in the shower than permanent marker.
Sometimes it's enough. Other times I carve on the written words.

And - welcome to PC!
