I have a loving husband upstairs who probably wants to make love to me. I made a post on FaceBook about my
Possible trigger:
20 years ago in honor of Suicide Prevention Day. A friend that I haven't talked to in years messaged me to say my post may have saved his life, at least for another night. And lots of other people were supportive, too. Yet all I can think about right now is cutting myself. What is wrong with me?

And I caved, but fairly minor, and I called and talked to my T immediately after... After talking more today, we're setting up a self-care plan for me and a safety contract. Otherwise, my p-doc was talking today about a day program, which is 4 hours a day for a month at an outpatient center with therapy, groups, etc. Which I really don't want...

Thanks for the hugs. Going OK so far. Only had one drink last night (part of the plan). Need to fit in some exercise today at some point. I'd asked my T if she wanted me checking in with her over the weekend, but she said she trusted that I was motivated to stick to the plan, so I didn't have to. And my husband is being very supportive, too.

I'm supposed to write up a more official "plan" for my T appointment Wednesday, like with specific goals. And she said not to make it so strict that there's no way I could meet it. And maybe some rewards built in rather than it just being "do this or go to the day program."

I'm glad you're doing OK and are managing to stick to your plan so far. And that your husband is being supportive.

Remember, we're here to listen if you need to vent. About anything.
Thanks for this!
