So recently I decided to give up self injury and I know that it'll be hard because the urge is kinda always there but last week when I saw my therapist we broke all my blades, and got rid of my lighters. I feel like I can be a happier person now. I hope that I can stay strong enough to not give in to urges. It's been a week and I'm doing pretty well

Hi musicLover,

Congratulations on your resolution to stop self injury. I have taken the same step recently too after a relapse. I really wish you strength and compassion on yourself as you deal with these cravings. I will endeavour to do the same.
