I am very angry and very disappointed right now and I have not been self harming for at least 5 months. But the urge is so bad right now..
I want to do it so bad ![]() ![]() IM JUST SO ANGRY!!!!! |

Journal. Write all of what you're feeling down. Why you're angry. Why you're disappointed. Who you are angry at. Who you are disappointed with. Just keep writing. If you go off topic that's fine- it might be related in some way.
Next time you see your therapist (if you have one) let her/him read it if you are comfortable with it. If you can call said therapist and you want to go ahead. That's part of the job. Distract yourself in any way possible if it's still there. Be around people. Talk with friends family. Just don't be alone if you can avoid it.

When my urges get bad sometimes I hold an ice cube to my skin where I want to self harm and that sometimes helps I also snap a rubber band against my wrist these ideas don't make the urge go away but I find that sometimes these things lessen how strong the urges are
