*Trigger warning* I'm pretty ashamed right now. For the first time in a long time, I put a blade to my skin. It had been years. Years.
Granted, I turned to another version of self-harm that involved punch inanimate objects 'til my fists bled. But I hadn't cut in so long. So long I went without it to a point where I didn't even like the idea of a blade being near my skin. Now, I wanted to dig deep and take myself out but I didn't. Instead, I cut. Instead I decided to break my streak of not hurting myself with a knife. Why did I just give that all up? Last edited by Anonymous59786; May 07, 2016 at 09:36 AM. Reason: added trigger icon |

Be gentle with yourself. You went a really long time, so you had a slip up. Don't let that define you. Rely on the coping skills that helped you before and you will make it to a cut free life again.
