Apparently this wasn’t enough the other day, but at least I made it to two weeks. I think there is a bigger part of me that actually wants to quit than there used to be. It’s still not easy but I think that’s gonna help, as long as my mood doesn’t spiral anyway... __________________ Tired of feeling lost, tired of letting go. I'm really glad to hear that there is a bigger part of you that wants to quit than there used to be!

1 year, 3 weeks.
Didn't do anything tonight after a horrific nightmare (although you never really get used to nightmares, I'm not surprised when I have them because I have them almost every night - but this was the mother of all nightmares, don't think I've had one this severe in years) but that mostly had to do with me being too afraid to leave my bed. And SI tools weren't within reach. PRN meds (and water) were, so that's what I went with. |

I'm really sorry to hear about those nightmares.
Good job going with PRNs and water! |

Urges. Got into a sort-of-fight with my parents (which mostly came down to them saying: we do so much for you and you so little for us. Well I do everything I can but there's a lot I can't do, and everytime I offer to do something but indicate I need some help to do so (for example: hey, I see x is on the menu, I can cook dinner if you want, but can you peel the potatoes because I can't? (I only have one usable hand)) I get as a reply that in that case they might as well do everything themselves). And I thought you wanted a child, not a slave, my mistake.
Now contemplating: - where I'm going to SI - what method I'm going to use - what/how I'm going to tell my treatment providers (just got 2 new ones). Not sure whether it'll stick to ruminating or whether I'll actually follow through. 1 year, 3 weeks and 1 day about to go down the drain. |

Still clean. Going to go to bed. Have to go without lorazepam (my sleeping aid) starting from tonight, so that will be fun. I could take it, of course - my pdoc wouldn't mind, he mostly lets me taper at my own speed - but that'd mean I would be on it for another week (as otherwise I'd have to quit during the school week, which I prefer not to do).
Or maybe I'll take it anyway. What's another week in a life? |

Well done! Maybe sleep is more important than that one week right now? |

Kudos to you nicoleb2, it's a great achievement, longer than I have ever managed.
I hope you can be understanding towards yourself, it is understandable, even if you regret it and you can't do it again. Be kind to yourself, you do deserve it. __________________ We're people first, anything else is secondary. |
