How do you deal with those "helpers" who in their stupidity and ignorance judge you as attention seeking?
What is wrong with THEM? ![]() Is it acceptable for professionals to get away with this sort of failure of care? Do they realise or care that many people want to die 24/7 and "cope" by self harming.. I suppose lives don't matter to these "helpers" They make me SICK ![]()

I hate when someone calls it "attention seeking." For some people, it may be a cry for help, but even that is different than attention seeking. I personally don't think professionals should label or judge the reason why someone does it. Their job is to help, not judge. Even if someone is doing it for a reason that could appear to be attention seeking, their job is still to help.
