well...lemme think. today is friday. i went to see my t thursday of last week, so it's been just over a week since i've seen him. that's the first time i've been to a t. i was scared outta my mind to go. probably because i didn't know what to expect. but besides the fact that i don't like the man and i'd rather not go back to see him again, it turned out okay. after we all talked, he told us his thoughts about me. he said that i have some mild depression, that i cut because of stress, an that he might want to put me on meds for mood swings and sleeping problems that i have. other than that, he suggested that i go to the group they have at the hospital that is completely voluntary. i don't think my mom understands that because she's making me go. but it's supposed to be "for my own good" heh. what a joke. so that's how my first meeting went. i'm supposed to go back on the 21, but i gotta see if i can stand the next group meeting first. well...good nite to all that are still awake, and good morning to those who aren't.

I think you are moving in a positive direction, by seeking help, try not to be resistant to what the T has to say, and if possible give the meds a try along with talk therapy, many people can gain a lot by working with pdocs and or therapists, by doing nothing and building a wall around ourselves gets us nowhere.
I am happy to hear you are giving it a try, in fact proud of you for doing so this is what the doc said
Please take care now,

I have found group interaction has been extremely important to me. It is hard for me when I am new to a group but just sitting there listening to what others are going through helps me tremendously. I hope the group meeting goes well for you.
