I know it can be hard not to cut but if you can avoid it do so. I tell you this because I have cut. Going to the doctor for regular things can mess you up if you cut. They look at your arms and wont even treat your psychical illness unless your dying. They put you in the hospital computers as a cutter and wont take any of your symptoms serious. Trust me been there.

I have stomach issues because I tear out my own hair and eat it, according to the gastro-enterologist.

.. no. I have alopecia areata, psychiatric issues, and a damaged stomach from the meds I took when I had an illness in my leg.

But not according to that lady.

I have cut too. I used to do it. And Ill say what I always say- no one deserves to hurt themselves. To feel that low that that is something they WANt to do. You wouldnt cut your mother or your friend- dont do it to yourself. You DONT DESERVE THAT. This isnt to shame, but just to give people another reason to stop. Do it FOR YOU.

Every day gets a little easier. Its hard, especially hard at first to stop- but EVERY DAY is easier than the last. And if I can stop- you can too
